I used super bulky yarn Megafil (by Alize), 100 g/55 m. However, I think that you can achieve the same gauge (10 sts x 14 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, needles 8 mm, 2 x 2 ribbing) if you combine several yarns. I am going to explore this, probably, using some leftovers.
