The construction in question is not new neither invented by me. I have seen this type of shoulder many times and now decided to try it out.

I started a sample for NoviEst yarn store. At first I planned some simple pattern for the yoke, something like vertical stripes in reverse stockinette. However, it became clear that the yarn in question is too bouncy and the fabric is too tense, no matter how many stitches I cast on. 

Last week I started a sweater. I thought I will make something for myself after a while.

This is about the top I discussed in this post. My initial plan was to make stripes all over.

A good friend has sent me some cotton named Lily, 100 % cotton, 100 g/392 m. This friend of mine has knitted with two strands some textured patterns. I thought I could do a summer top with "brick" pattern. But then problems started.
